While working for Tech Turn Up at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington, I helped K-5 students create two games: Cookie Drop & Fighting Legends. Because of the students’ age range, I focused less on teaching game development and put more emphasis on game design and asset creation. All art in both games was created by students using traditional media like pencil and marker. All mechanics, thematics, character designs, sound effects, and game titles were proposed/ voted on by students. Music was created by the students as well, using  Chrome Music Lab.
